Kranovich & Lucero, LLCAngela was born and raised in Las Cruces, New Mexico. As a minority attorney, Angela is committed to working towards creating a more diverse legal community and eliminating patterns and practices which perpetuate misunderstanding and racism.
Angela focuses her practice defending civil litigation claims. She represents clients in bodily injury, property damage and insurance coverage disputes. She has represented individual clients, insurance companies and self insured public bodies. She is fluent in Spanish and has the ability to communicate and assist Spanish speaking clients without the use of translators. As a bilingual attorney she provides the additional value of being able to monitor the accuracy of testimony by any Spanish speaking party or witness which is translated during depositions or trial. Angela's presence in any case brings a balance in legal skill and diversity.
Angela's legal experience began during law school while clerking for the litigation department of Safeco Insurance Company. During her clerkship she utilized her strong writing ability and analytical skills in drafting various legal memoranda and assisted attorneys with trial preparation. As a law clerk with the Lewis & Clark Legal Clinic she represented clients in residential eviction proceedings and unemployment administrative hearings.
Angela was an associate of the Law Office of Tom Kranovich and became a member and manager of Kranovich & Lucero, LLC in 2009.
Angela was born and raised in Las Cruces, New Mexico. As a minority attorney she continuously strives to be a better attorney, colleague, mentor and future leader within the profession and the community. She is committed to working towards creating a more diverse legal community and eliminating patterns and practices which perpetuate misunderstanding and racism. During law school she tutored minority law students and was on the admissions committee. She is an alumnus of Oregon State Bar's Opportunities for Law in Oregon (OLIO) Program, which is dedicated to helping women and ethnic minorities to increase their visibility and stature within Oregon's judicial system. She regularly serves as a mentor for minority law students. Angela is a member of the Oregon Women Lawyers Association, is a founding member and officer of the newly formed Clackamas Women Lawyers, and a member of the Oregon Hispanic Chamber of Commerce.
